Living Room Pillow Fight

Babysitter Certification

Babysitter Certification is a 5 hour course designed to teach youth the skills required to care for children. Topics include attributes of a good babysitter and employer, ages and stages of development of children 3 months to school aged, behaviour and misbehaviour and how it relates to communication, feeding and changing babies and toddlers, activities and nutrition for all ages, preventing injury, dealing with emergencies, and basic first aid. Cost for this course is $75.

Kids for Peace

Home Alone

Home Alone is a 2.5 hour course that prepares children to stay home by themselves for short periods of time, when they and their parents feel they are ready to do so. Topics include the importance of establishing routines, strangers, feeling scared, preventing and dealing with emergency situations, calling 911 and basic first aid. Cost of this course is $65.

CPR & AED Courses

We are now offering Adult, Child and Infant CPR and AED training! As a training partner with the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation, we are offering Heartsaver (CPR) courses which include training on an automated external defibrillator. An excellent add on to Babysitter Certification. We are available to train your staff teams and will also be offering courses to the general public. Cost of training is $85. Watch our site for upcoming dates!

Babysitter Plus (CPR C / AED training added)

NEW FOR 2023! This package combines Babysitter Certification and AED / CPR Level C over a two day training period. This enhancement adds critical skills to your child's resume and readiness for looking after young children. $150

First Aid

CardiacCrash

We are excited to introduce CardiacCrashâ„¢  â€“ a new, innovative crash course on life-saving techniques. It’s a team-based, gamified learning approach that is engaging and creates a memorable, adrenaline producing experience.

CardiacCrash is a new way to bring life-saving cardiac arrest education to people who want to learn how to save a life. There is a version for engaging employees at workplaces and a second version for students at middle and high schools. $20 per participant and program can accommodate groups of up to 35.

Emergency & Standard First Aid  (CSA Basic & Intermediate)

Emergency (or basic) First Aid Level C is fast-paced 1-day course that delivers proven methods for basic, urgent assistance to injured or ill adults, children and infants. Through instruction, demonstration, and hands-on practice, participants will learn how to determine a patient’s condition and practice safe intervention when providing them with emergency support.

This course is aimed at lay rescuers or employees who are required to receive 8 hours or less of emergency or basic first aid instruction/practice as stipulated by provincial or federal health & safety regulations. Cost is $95.

Our Standard (intermediate) First Aid – Level C course is a comprehensive 2-day program designed to teach you essential skills to effectively respond to medical emergencies in the workplace, home or other setting. This course is designed to meet provincial workplace regulatory requirements* and covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including responding to breathing, airway and circulation emergencies for adults, children and infants, as well as control of bleeding, shock, stabilizing fractures and dislocations, head and spine injuries, and more. This course is ideal for everyday people who want to be prepared for the unexpected. Cost is $125.
